Master craftsmen recognise and respect fine quality and craftsmanship wherever they find it. That’s why the master cabinet makers at Allkind Joinery Brisbane use Centor door hardware on their popular timber bifold doors. If you’ve been thinking about joining the trend towards bringing the outdoors in with bifold doors, Centor’s great product range is just one more reason why you should choose timber bifold doors from Allkind’s Renovator’s Range of doors.

Allkind Joinery and Glass created the Renovators Range in order to bring high quality doors within the budget of the average home renovator. Because custom made doors are of necessity more expensive than standard sized doors, Allkind put together a wide variety of standard configurations of bifold doors to suit virtually any customer’s needs:

  • Choose between 3, 4 or 5 door units.
  • You can choose door widths of 620, 720 or 820 millimetres.
  • Doors can fold left, right or even left and right.
  • Doors can be supplied with or without frames.

All of the timber bifold doors from Allkind Joinery are made to their uncompromisingly high standards. The doors are constructed from beautiful Surian cedar and door frames are constructed from highly durable merbau. The glass used in construction is AS (Australian Standard) 1288 safety glass and the hardware is Centor’s renowned E2 system.

About Centor Timber Bi Fold Door Hardware

The Centor E2 bifold door system is constructed from the highest grade of stainless steel, solid brass, aluminium and engineering grade plastics. Designed for ease of use and efficiency, bifold doors hung on this system are highly wind and rain resistant. In fact, their resistance to air infiltration has been tested and determined to be 50 times better than sliding glass doors.

The Centor E2 system and one centre lock comes standard on all Allkind Joinery timber bifold doors, but the system is also compatible with Centor’s remarkable ES2 bifold door screens. Fully integrated into the door frame, the screen can span a distance of up to 5.8 metres without sagging. Nearly invisible when closed, the ES2 has been designed to be highly impact resistant, too. If someone accidentally walks into the screen, they will be given a gentle reminder and the screen will remain undamaged. If a high wind blows the screen off its track, it can easily be fixed by simply retracting the screen door, which self-feeds itself back on to the roll. The tough PVC coated mesh is pet-resistant, too. In other words, these are fly screens for bifold doors like no others.

Installing Timber Bifold Doors

The Centor E2 bifold door system is designed for DIY installation. However, most of Allkind Joinery’s customers prefer to let the experts at Allkind Joinery install their timber bifold doors for them or work with their building contractor to ensure everything is installed correctly.

Once installed, the Centor E2 system is designed for security. None of the hardware can be removed from the outdoors, the doors cannot be lifted off their tracks, and with the addition of dropbolts and locksets (optional), you have full security in your home.
